This review is for the bakery - a call ahead, pick up order. I ordered a "half" size of the Mama's marble - Woww this may be the best cake I have EVER had, or at least in a long time. You can definitely tell the quality. We also got a slice of the Perfect Chocolate for my daughter to go, which was fabulous as well. You can definitely tell the quality. We didn't eat there, but the bakery/bar area has a beautiful atmosphere. I cannot wait to go there with a friend to hang out. Only thing I did not like was a charge to use a CC.

This visit was unfortunate and requires a short story. After calling three times to place a to-go order no one answered the phone so I drove down there. Staff was very friendly but panic running with only 1 table and 2 people at bar. I placed my order for $42 Filet mignon with sides large plate and $32 fried catfish with cheese grits, collards, shoestring potatoes. I also grabbed 2 desserts at $11a piece. Total bill with tip $124. Food was missing virtually every side but still tasty. Desserts were very small but also very good.Note: if you come in the back door, be ready to think they are closed. It is dark, as you step on piles of leaves and walk by bathrooms into a very tattered dining room. I saw two sets of people use the back door, come in and say nope and quickly exit out the front door. I specialize in pastry/desserts reviews and they were good but overall severely disappointing, especially since I have been going there since the 90's. Probably will only go back for desserts.

I stopped by to pick up some birthday cake for my wife. They have great cake and a lot of variety. We tried the "Variety Cake." It has 4 layers: chocolate, red velvet, hummingbird, and carrot. It was pretty good, and the bartender was very pleasant when she helped me. It's a little pricey but worth it for a special occasion. Parking is close but can be tough to find in that plaza.

Came in for relaxing time and didn't expect all the desserts they offer. Unfortunately we were too full for dessert but comforting cocktail did us fir the night. Bar tender Garrett was very personable and served us promptly. This place doesn't offer booth seatings for intimate setting but small bar area was good enough for us to enjoy the night. Will try cakes next time!

Been coming here for years & it just gets better and better. Each time the experience is phenomenal and diverse. The chefs have amazing experience. They provide a personal touch to each meal. Service & food are always 10/10 here. Location is perfect & I always look forward to eating here, especially Brunch!
